Press Release

LightSportFlying.com Delivers First Aerostar Festival R40S S-LSA Aircraft.

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE, September 16, 2005 – LightSportFlying.com announced today the delivery of the first Aerostar Festival R40S Special Light Sport Aircraft to Mr. Chuck Webber of Livingston, New York.  LightSportFlying.com publicly introduced the Aerostar Festival R40S at AirVenture 2005.

Chuck Webber is a high-time pilot with a Commercial Pilot License.  Webber is the owner of an agricultural aviation business and an aircraft dealer.  Between the time that Webber ordered his aircraft and it was delivered, he decided to sign up as the dealer representative for the northeastern part of the United States.  Webber commented on taking delivery of the aircraft, “This is the best aircraft to fit my mission for flying and the best possible S-LSA that I could have found on the market today.”  Webber plans to enjoy his time flying his new Aerostar Festival.

LightSportFlying.com President, Rick Pellicciotti, had this to say about delivering the first Aerostar Festival R40S:  “This is an exciting time for the people at LightSportFlying.com and Aerostar.  We love airplanes and we especially love the Festival.  Working with Aerostar is a pleasure and seeing Mr. Webber take delivery was an emotionally exciting event.  We are looking forward to many similar experiences with future Festival customers.”

The Aerostar Festival R40S is a two-place, single engine piston powered aircraft that is certified by the FAA as a Special Light Sport Aircraft (S-LSA).  It has an empty weight of 840 pounds.  Built by Aerostar S.A. of Romania, the Festival R40S is propelled by a 100 horsepower Rotax 912 ULS engine.  The Festival is bringing back the enjoyment and economics of general aviation aircraft for today’s flying enthusiast.  Flight schools and individual owners appreciate the Festival’s rugged construction and excellent flying qualities.  The Aerostar Festival is easy to maintain as all items that are subject to wear and tear are US sourced and easy to obtain.
